Mom can't have flowers, but she loves cards, phone calls and visitors. Please call ahead before visiting. Some days she
is too tired to have visitors and, other times, she is back at UNMC for treatment.
Because the chemo weakens her immune system, she has to be very careful about the risk of infection. She cannot be around
a lot of people at a time. She also cannot have raw fruits, restaurant prepared food or raw vegetables. She asks that no one
cook for her, as she must remain so aware of the cleaniless of preparation.
She usually can't drive because of her medications. Occasionally, they let her when her counts are up. If you would like
assist with errands or driving Mom to clinic, she appreciates these gestures.
Time and time again, Mom tells me she just needs lots of prayers. Feel free to pass this web site address on to others,
